Pulmonary mucormycosis presenting as pericarditis in a renal allograft recipient

Abstract


          We report the case of a renal allograft recipient, who presented with chest pain and was suspected to have acute coronary syndrome. On evaluation, he had ECG changes and was diagnosed to have pericarditis. On further evaluation, it was found that, he had pulmonary mucormycosis which was causing pericarditis.
