MANAGEMENT OF GLOTTIC STENOSIS- A CASE REPORT

HEMALATHA K

Abstract

Laryngeal stenosis has become an important  complication of emergency life supporting systems as well as other traumatic injury to the larynx. It is essential to define the extent of the lesion and plan for surgical intervention in cases of established stenosis to restore the functions of larynx. With improved instrumentation and expertise, the endoscopic   laryngeal surgeries have shown good results when combined with laryngeal stents or keels.
