RARE PRESENTATION OF SPONTANEOUS ACQUIRED DIAPHRAGMATIC HERNIA IN A BRONCHIAL ASTHMA PATIENT

Abstract


Spontaneous acquired diaphragmatic hernia is very uncommon. Bronchial asthma as a predisposing factor for this condition is rare. We present a case of spontaneous diaphragmatic hernia in a bronchial asthmatic where no other predisposing factors could be found, and was successfully managed surgically.
